2016 Atlanta AIDS Walk/Run

Sunday, Oct. 16th proved to be a beautiful day and not just because the weather was nice. The young ladies of Elite Sisterhood supported the AIDS Walk Atlanta (& 5K Run) by cheering on the runners as the crossed finish line.

This annual event serves to raise money and awareness for the research, treatment, and prevention of HIV/AIDS in Atlanta. As volunteers these ladies served as the inspiration the walkers/runners needed to push & cross the finish line to victory.

The members of ESI learn the importance of community involvement, teamwork and leadership by participating in monthly community service projects. These and others projects help them to gain exposure to the needs of their community as well as show them what it means to make a lasting impact.

We look forward to attending and volunteering for this event again next year!
