Pretty Girls Sweat

Elite Sisterhood member, Shiyon T., a Junior at the Carver School of Technology chapter was graced with the opportunity to participate in Pretty Girls Sweat 5th Anniversary SweatShop (17Sept2016).

Each of the participants were styled in Adidas workout leggings, socks and PureBOOST xenergy sneakers. This event served to encourage girls to have fun and be confident as they exercised, and of course sweat, through dance. Pretty Girls Sweat has been “making fitness fun since 2011”.

The Mission of Pretty Girls Sweat is “CULTIVATE a community of active female students, UNITE + EMPOWER girls through the power of fitness, FLIP the ingrained perceptions sweat holds, TRAIN future health leaders, and LAUNCH careers for the next generation of journalists and media professionals.” (PGS Website)

The event was filled with fun activities, meeting new people, dancing, and plenty of hydration courtesy of Aquafina and PACT.
